I have been using I-Tasser for quite some time without any problems. In the last job, I downloaded three different substrate binding models.
(Protein bound to single stranded nucleic acid)
Two of them could be visualised perfectly with VMD (Visual Molecular Dinamics). One of them, when uploaded could only visualised with some drawing methods, not others. In particular, trace, ribbons, new ribbons, new cartoon (I can never visualise DNA in cartoon with this programme)
led to the disappearance of the protein and pert of the nucleic acid chain. I get the following error message: "warning ribbons code encountered an unusual structure, geometry may not look as expected." Does any on have any idea what these unusual structures may be?
