Dear Zhang lab members,
Thanks for making the wonderful STRUM web tool. I recently submitted a project (SM102395) , and got the final result (http://zhanglab.ccmb.med.umich.edu/STRUM/output/SM102395). We found a single AA mutation R545H in the human LRRC8A protein, which caused the defective sperm and male infertility. So we want to predict if the R545H mutation change the 3D structure of the WT LRRC8A protein. In the result provided, I see no difference of R545H mutation between WT (left image) and R545H mutation (right image) in the 3D structure. I am not familiar with the final structural result from the STRUM prediction below. I would great appreciate it if you can explain a little bit about the 3D structure difference between WT LRRC8A protein and the R545H-LRRC8A mutation protein.
