Hello Zhang Lab,
I recently installed I-TASSER2.1 on a machine running Fedora17 64bit. I'm having the same problem as some others who have posted on the discussion board, where solve runs indefinitely. For example:
[notti@fedotti ~]$ /home/notti/I-TASSER2.1/I-TASSERmod/runI-TASSER.pl -libdir /home/notti/I-TASSER2.1 -seqname testA -datadir /home/notti/TestA -usrname nottiYour setting is:
-libdir =/home/notti/I-TASSER2.1
-seqname =testA
-datadir =/home/notti/TestA
-usrname =notti
-runstyle =serial
-idcut =1
-ntemp =20
-nmodel =5
1. make seq.txt and rmsinp
2.1 run Psi-blast
2.3 run solve
2.3 run solve
... (indefinitely)
[Note also the lack of display for 2.2 ??]
I downloaded the 64-bit compiled solve posted elsewhere in the board, and substituted it for the 32-bit complied executable; this did not help. pssm.txt has data in it. The exp.dat file being outputted to $datadir contains only weights (as observed by the previous poster).
When I attempt to run solve from the command line, i receive a "permission denied" error.
I'm not sure how else to troubleshoot this. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Ryan
